Meet The Founder and CEO
Tyla M. Jackson is the proud founder of Dynasty Child Care Center in Toledo, OH. Tyla holds a B.S. in Early Childhood Studies with a focus in literature from The Ohio State University, graduating in 2020. Her passion for early childhood education was nurtured through field experiences at various centers in Columbus and its surrounding areas, inspiring her to create a nurturing environment that feels like a home away from home for children in her community. As the owner, Tyla is deeply involved in the daily operations of the school, ensuring that it meets the highest standards of care that parents expect. Her commitment to excellence is reflected in her dedication to providing quality care, fun, and educational experiences for children at reasonable rates. Reflecting on her journey, she shares, 'I am truly blessed to open the first Dynasty Child Care Center in my hometown.' Tyla is delighted to bring this exceptional childcare center to her community, where families are treated like her own.

Assistant Director
Hello, I am Teia Jackson, born and raised in Toledo, Ohio. Over the past six years, I have progressed from an infant teacher to an early preschool teacher, then to a preschool teacher, and now I serve as the assistant director. I graduated from Bowsher High School in 2017. My favorite foods include the bread from Texas Roadhouse and the ice from Chick-fil-A. On weekends, I cherish spending time with my family. One of my favorite books to read to the children is "I Love You to the Moon and Back." I am especially excited about planning fun events for the kids this year and watching them develop throughout our program.

Hello, I'm Mr. Meech, recently voted best teacher by the kids! Originally from Buffalo, New York, I now call Toledo, Ohio home. Childcare has been a significant part of my life since my youth. I hold a high school diploma and two degrees, and I'm currently embarking on a doctorate program in Physical Therapy. My favorite foods are sushi and Twizzlers, but I'm not a fan of ketchup. On weekends, you'll find me engaged in sports-related activities, particularly football. My top pick for a children's book is "NO, DAVID, NO!" This year, I'm thrilled to continue my journey toward earning my Doctorate in Physical Therapy.

Hello! My name is DeAngelo, but everyone calls me Mr. DJ. I’m originally from Kansas City, Missouri, and though new to the childcare field, I’m passionate about helping children learn and grow. I hold an Associate’s Degree in General Arts and enjoy bringing creativity and curiosity into the classroom.
Outside of work, I love taking peaceful walks outdoors and indulging in my favorite food—French fries! I especially enjoy reading Dr. Seuss books during storytime for their fun rhymes and imagination.

Hi, I’m Gracie! I was raised in Michigan and have been working in childcare for the past two years. I’m passionate about early childhood education and plan to continue my studies with the goal of one day opening my own center.
Outside of the classroom, I love watching football and basketball, spending time with my dog, exploring new restaurants, and enjoying time with family and friends. I’m so excited to continue learning and to help our little ones grow, explore, and become their best selves!

Hello! My name is Elana Rivers, and I grew up in Toledo, Ohio. I graduated from Bowsher high school in 2024, and I am currently attending Owens Community College to receive my dental assisting certificate and to further pursue my dental career. I plan to one day be a child dental hygienist, and working at Dynasty gives me such a great learning experience and practice to prepare for child behaviors in the dental office. Mine and the kids favorite read would be “Peeny Butter Fudge” by Toni and Slade Morrison. In my free time I enjoy reading, and writing my own stories, skating and drawing.

I was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio, I graduated from Rogers High School in 2012 and am currently pursuing a nursing degree at Owens Community College, with graduation planned for Fall 2027. As the support Teacher at our center, I take great pride in working with all of the children who enter our doors, teaching and guiding them at all stages of their development. Outside of work, I’m a proud mother of two daughters who share my enthusiasm for cooking and baking. In my free time, I enjoy singing—a creative outlet that brings joy and harmony to everything I do.
